Cowls is nationally known as a forest policy and land conservation leader.
- We strongly support wildlife habitat initiatives and have won awards for our work creating early successional habitat for woodcock.
- We help to educate the public about the benefits of sustainable forestry, open space conservation, water quality, wildlife habitat and wood supply.
- We have advocated for landowner equity in Congress and at the state and local levels.
- Our forestry team members serve on the boards of national, state, regional and local organizations.
